Howrah Youth lead night protests after doctor's rape and murder||shining earth foundation||organisations mass rally

 On Sunday, 25th August 2024, Shining Earth Foundation, in collaboration with Dr. Ambedkar Samaj Vikash Parishad Howrah, successfully organized a significant rally aimed at raising awareness against violence towards women, particularly focusing on the recent RGKAR Rape Case. Despite the challenges posed by heavy rain and waterlogging, the rally saw the participation of over 150 youths, all of whom were determined to make their voices heard.

The rally commenced at Ambedkar Nagar and made its way through Panchamtala Road, finally concluding at Howrah Maidan. Participants carried banners and handmade posters, calling for justice and an end to the violence that plagues our society. The adverse weather conditions did not dampen the spirits of the participants; instead, it symbolized the tears and pain of countless women who live in fear due to the daily threat of violence.

The event was more than just a protest; it was a powerful message that the youth of today will not remain silent. They are ready to stand up and fight for a society where women are safe, respected, and valued.

Shining Earth Foundation has pledged to continue this fight with our motto of Engaging Learning Creating. This rally marks the beginning of a broader campaign under our flagship projects "Samvidhan Ko Samjho," "Let Her Fly",  Break The Bias, which will involve youth in activism across schools, colleges, and communities. Our mission is to create a society that not only talks about the empowerment of women during festivals like Durga Puja, Navratri, Kali Puja, Sarswati Puja, Laxmi Puja but also practices respect and equality every single day.

The rally was a call to action for all citizens to join hands in building a non-judgmental, safe space for every girl and woman in our country. The fight for justice and equality continues, and Shining Earth Foundation is committed to leading this charge.
